OUR HISTORY
Partners David Murray & Johan Niemand both gained work experience during their early years in the Low Country at the same local architecture firm. They had the opportunity to work together on many projects over that seven year period. Each of them left that firm to pursue separate opportunities, and after a short time they began collaborating on design projects. They decided to form a partnership and established the architecture firm Tidemarsh LLC to better serve their clients & to pursue a wider range of project types.
David Murray received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Toronto in 1986, and has been a licensed architect since 1993. Over the past 18 years David has practiced in Beaufort, South Carolina. He has had the opportunity to work on the restoration of historical buildings, as well as the new construction of both residential and commercial buildings. These projects include hotels, retail shops, restaurants, business offices, factories, schools & churches. David is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
